Dragons meet Japanese judo legend Masashi Ebinuma


This weekend the dragons were treated to a masterclass by the legendary judoka Masashi Ebinuma. As well as learning some of his techniques he took the time to randori with players and give them autographs. An inspiring day with an incredible athlete!

Dragons Take Gold at the Scottish Open

  Our team fought superbly this weekend at the 1st National ranking event of 2025, the Scottish Open in Largs, Glasgow. The dragons took a large team of athletes and everyone was on top form as they took on the best athletes in the Country.  In the Cadets our team finished strongly and final results were: Final results Sam Tang u60kg Lucy Robinson u52kg Peter Crawford u90kg Olivia Barfoot-Saunt u48kg George Armstrong u90kg Alex Mckee u46kg No medals for Vaidotas Pulokas, Sebbie Robottom, Ethan Watkin, Conrad Szilvasi and Nikolaos Goudinakis but some great contests. Ethan and Conrad took more points for their dan grade and George, Peter and Sam took points for their 2nd dan. On Sunday it was the turn of the U21's and we had 8 athletes competing.
